18-063.02 Boney Avenue Signals (RE-BID) #7007

The City of D’Iberville, Harrison County, Mississippi, will receive bids for the Signalization and Intersection Improvements of Boney Avenue and D’Iberville Boulevard for a total project length of 0.09 miles, Federal Aid Project No. STP-9182-00(005)LPA/107538/701000 no later than Friday, 2:00 P.M. Local Time, APRIL 19, 2019, in the City Council Chambers located at 10383 Automall Parkway, D’IBERVILLE, Mississippi, 39540. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work shall consist essentially of the following items:
Installation of a new traffic signal, new striping, and the removal of signage and existing striping.

The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein.

The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions.

The City of D’Iberville of Harrison County hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged and women’s business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
